– The Natural Approach to Healing

Allergies are affecting the lives of more than one billion people worldwide. With an epidemic rise during the last 60 years, their prevalence is expected to reach up to 4 billion in 2050s. (World Allergy Organisation, 2013)

In the EU, the number of children with allergies has doubled in the last ten years, and visits to A&E have increased seven-fold. Ireland has the fourth highest asthma prevalence in the world.

All allergies are the result of an exaggerated response by the immune system to substances that it recognises as foreign.

There are medications to help control the allergic response and provide relief from symptoms. There are even medications that will be life-saving in the event of severe allergic reactions.

However, allergy medication taken regularly can be dangerous and proven to produce nasty side-effects.

There are other steps which can be taken to boost the immune system and lessen allergic reactions.

A study published in 2004 showed amazing immune-boosting results for
a group that started getting spinal adjustments. In this study, 1,028 people had some form of allergies (the most common was atopic dermatitis and bronchial asthma).

X-Ray evidence and physical exams proved that 98% of these allergy patients had remarkably similar vertebral misalignments in their midback.

Over 88% of the people with dermatitis who received consistent spinal adjustments showed massive improvement in skin itching and over 71% showed improvement in overall skin condition.
