Welcome

To the February issue of Ballincollig Health & Wellbeing, our first of 2020. We hope you have a wonderful break over Christmas and are having a great start to the new year.

As always, we are here to provide you with information, strategies and options to help you make empowered choices about your mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing. As it is the start of a new year, and as we are shortly entering our third year here at the magazine; we thought it a nice to re-introduce ourselves to you, our readers. Maybe you have been one of our readers since our beginning, back in April 2017, or maybe are new to our magazine; either way we felt it might be of benefit for you to get a better picture or a reminder of who we are and what we do. To do this we have dedicated our feature space this month to “Meet Your Team”.

Your team is made up of local, professional, qualified and passionate people, who are motivated by making a positive difference in people’s lives, in their own way. As health and wellbeing practitioners, I believe we each have our own spark, which has led us on our chosen paths. We have invested years and large sums of money to become qualified in our fields and we dedicate our lives daily to help people live a healthier, happier, lives.

If you have any health issue that you would like to speak to someone about but are not sure who can help; do not worry. Have a look at the team you have locally and if there is someone whose therapy you are drawn to, contact them. They are only too happy to speak to you and if they feel they may not be the right fit for you, they will have an extensive network of professionals that they can draw from to refer you on to. There is always someone that can help you; you might find that person straight away or it might take a little longer, but either way there is someone. You are not alone; just make contact.
