To the July issue of Ballincollig Health & Wellbeing. This time of year, is about taking time for rest, fun and a break from the routine of everyday life. This is a vital aspect of health and wellbeing, to rest, restore, recharge and unwind.
As you know here at the magazine we choose a different aspect of health every month to focus on; this month it is heart health. Our team offer information, and strategies on how to maintain good heart health. Modern living is putting extra pressures and strains on us and combined with highly processed, fatty diets and sedentary lifestyles we are at higher risk of heart problems. There are many things you can do however, to look after your heart and keep it working at its best. It all starts with awareness and even by putting a few changes in place can make all the difference. Use the summer as a time to give yourself the best gift you can; take action to improve health and wellbeing. No matter how small the steps, they are steps in the right direction and they will add up. Never put off caring for you.
